# MAXD vs Setly

The clearest difference is ads: Setly at none against MAXD's shown. MAXD's advantage is update cadence (daily vs every 4 days). On price, in-app purchases, device support and iOS requirement there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. MAXD sells 4 in-app purchases, starting at $9.99 per month and Setly sells 2 in-app purchases, starting at $4.99 per month. Whichever you choose, the download price is not the number that matters.

MAXD ships an update daily, Setly every 4 days. Both last shipped on October 31, 2026.
