# Moda vs Permit

The clearest difference is update cadence: Moda at weekly against Permit's monthly. On price, ads, in-app purchases and device support there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Moda sells 1 one-off in-app purchase and Permit sells 1 one-off in-app purchase. Whichever you choose, the download price is not the number that matters.

Moda ships an update weekly, Permit monthly. The most recent releases landed on September 19, 2026 and September 21, 2026 respectively.
