# FitCat vs Strive

The clearest difference is update cadence: Strive at every 3 days against FitCat's fortnightly. On price, ads, in-app purchases and device support there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. FitCat sells 2 in-app purchases, starting at $0.49 per month and Strive sells 2 in-app purchases, starting at $2.99 per month. Whichever you choose, the download price is not the number that matters.

FitCat ships an update fortnightly, Strive every 3 days. The most recent releases landed on October 1, 2026 and October 12, 2026 respectively.
