# GymTorch vs Obsid Workout

The clearest difference is update cadence: GymTorch at every 5 days against Obsid Workout's every 2 months. Obsid Workout's advantage is iOS requirement (14.0 vs 26.0). On price, ads, in-app purchases and device support there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. GymTorch sells 3 in-app purchases, starting at $6.99 per month and Obsid Workout sells 1 one-off in-app purchase. Whichever you choose, the download price is not the number that matters.

GymTorch ships an update every 5 days, Obsid Workout every 2 months. The most recent releases landed on October 7, 2026 and October 5, 2026 respectively.
