# Solstix vs Sun Pathway

The clearest difference is update cadence: Solstix at every 3 days against Sun Pathway's every 3 weeks. Sun Pathway's advantage is iOS requirement (16.0 vs 26.0). On price, ads, in-app purchases and device support there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Solstix sells 1 one-off in-app purchase and Sun Pathway sells 1 one-off in-app purchase. Whichever you choose, the download price is not the number that matters.

Solstix ships an update every 3 days, Sun Pathway every 3 weeks. The most recent releases landed on October 1, 2026 and October 7, 2026 respectively.
