# Flare vs Vcove

The clearest difference is update cadence: Flare at weekly against Vcove's monthly. Flare also leads on iOS requirement (13.0 vs 15.6). On price, ads, in-app purchases and device support there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Flare sells 3 in-app purchases, starting at $2.99 per 7 days and Vcove sells 3 in-app purchases, starting at $2.99 per 7 days. Whichever you choose, the download price is not the number that matters.

Flare ships an update weekly, Vcove monthly. The most recent releases landed on October 28, 2026 and October 6, 2026 respectively.
