# MathPro vs Artist in Training

The clearest difference is update cadence: MathPro at every 10 days against Artist in Training's every 3 weeks. MathPro also leads on iOS requirement (15.1 vs 17.0). On price, ads, in-app purchases and device support there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. MathPro sells 1 in-app purchase, starting at $0.99 per year and Artist in Training sells 1 one-off in-app purchase. Whichever you choose, the download price is not the number that matters.

MathPro ships an update every 10 days, Artist in Training every 3 weeks. The most recent releases landed on October 10, 2026 and September 30, 2026 respectively.
