# FMGEPrep vs RecalliX

The clearest difference is update cadence: FMGEPrep at weekly against RecalliX's monthly. RecalliX's advantage is iOS requirement (13.0 vs 17.0). On price, ads, in-app purchases and device support there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. FMGEPrep sells 6 in-app purchases, starting at $12.99 per month and RecalliX sells 1 in-app purchase, starting at $9.99 per year. Whichever you choose, the download price is not the number that matters.

FMGEPrep ships an update weekly, RecalliX monthly. The most recent releases landed on October 25, 2026 and October 8, 2026 respectively.
