# Direct TV Remote Control App vs Remote

The clearest difference is device support: Remote at 3 against Direct TV Remote Control App's 1. On price, ads, in-app purchases and iOS requirement there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Direct TV Remote Control App sells 1 in-app purchase, starting at $6.99 per 7 days and Remote sells 1 one-off in-app purchase. Whichever you choose, the download price is not the number that matters.
