# ScrollShot vs Boundless Screenshot

The clearest difference is rating: ScrollShot at 5.0 against Boundless Screenshot's 3.7. ScrollShot also leads on iOS requirement (16.0 vs 18.6). Boundless Screenshot's advantage is monetization model (free vs freemium) and ratings volume (6 vs 1). On price, update cadence, ads and in-app purchases there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. ScrollShot sells 3 in-app purchases, starting at $1.99 per month and Boundless Screenshot sells 1 one-off in-app purchase. Whichever you choose, the download price is not the number that matters.

ScrollShot holds the better App Store score, 5.0 against 3.7. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: Boundless Screenshot has 6 ratings behind it against 1, so its average is the more settled of the two.

ScrollShot ships an update weekly, Boundless Screenshot every 9 days. The most recent releases landed on September 29, 2026 and September 25, 2026 respectively.
