# BYOK Studio vs Glit

The clearest difference is update cadence: Glit at every 2 weeks against BYOK Studio's every 5 weeks. BYOK Studio's advantage is iOS requirement (15.1 vs 17.0). On price, ads, in-app purchases and device support there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. BYOK Studio sells 3 in-app purchases, starting at $9.99 per month and Glit sells 1 one-off in-app purchase. Whichever you choose, the download price is not the number that matters.

BYOK Studio ships an update every 5 weeks, Glit every 2 weeks. The most recent releases landed on October 24, 2026 and October 28, 2026 respectively.
