# OpenTime vs TRIX

The clearest difference is price: TRIX at Free against OpenTime's $0.99. TRIX also leads on iOS requirement (17.0 vs 26.2). OpenTime's advantage is update cadence (every 2 days vs weekly). On ads, in-app purchases and device support there is nothing between them.

TRIX is free to download; OpenTime costs $0.99 up front. Neither carries in-app purchases, so what you see is what you pay.

OpenTime ships an update every 2 days, TRIX weekly. The most recent releases landed on October 24, 2026 and October 28, 2026 respectively.
