# YapYap vs Vorail

The clearest difference is monetization model: YapYap at freemium against Vorail's subscription. YapYap also leads on iOS requirement (13.0 vs 17.0). Vorail's advantage is ratings volume (13 vs 1). On price, rating, ads and in-app purchases there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. YapYap sells 1 in-app purchase, starting at $3.99 per month and Vorail sells 2 in-app purchases, starting at $9.99 per month. Whichever you choose, the download price is not the number that matters.

On the App Store both sit at effectively the same score — 5.0 for YapYap against 4.9 for Vorail. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: Vorail has 13 ratings behind it against 1, so its average is the more settled of the two.
