# Stashd vs Up Lock

The clearest difference is update cadence: Stashd at every 9 days against Up Lock's monthly. Stashd also leads on iOS requirement (15.1 vs 18.0). On price, ads, in-app purchases and device support there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Stashd sells 2 in-app purchases, starting at $4.99 per month and Up Lock sells 2 in-app purchases, starting at $7.99 per 7 days. Whichever you choose, the download price is not the number that matters.

Stashd ships an update every 9 days, Up Lock monthly. Both last shipped on October 6, 2026.
