# the roll vs BlindRoll

The clearest difference is update cadence: the roll at every 2 weeks against BlindRoll's every 3 months. BlindRoll's advantage is device support (3 vs 1) and iOS requirement (15.0 vs 17.0). On price, ads and in-app purchases there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. the roll sells 3 one-off in-app purchases and BlindRoll sells 6 one-off in-app purchases. Whichever you choose, the download price is not the number that matters.

the roll ships an update every 2 weeks, BlindRoll every 3 months. The most recent releases landed on October 7, 2026 and October 15, 2026 respectively.
