# Skrive vs EverDay

The clearest difference is update cadence: Skrive at every 2 weeks against EverDay's monthly. Skrive also leads on iOS requirement (16.4 vs 18.0). On price, ads, in-app purchases and device support there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Skrive sells 2 in-app purchases, starting at $3.99 per month and EverDay sells 1 one-off in-app purchase. Whichever you choose, the download price is not the number that matters.

Skrive ships an update every 2 weeks, EverDay monthly. The most recent releases landed on October 10, 2026 and October 23, 2026 respectively.
