# Subtrak vs Velo

The clearest difference is ads: Subtrak at none against Velo's shown. Velo's advantage is update cadence (every 10 days vs every 2 months). On price, in-app purchases, device support and iOS requirement there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Subtrak sells 3 in-app purchases, starting at $1.99 per 7 days and Velo sells 2 in-app purchases, starting at $2.99 per month. Whichever you choose, the download price is not the number that matters.

Subtrak ships an update every 2 months, Velo every 10 days. The most recent releases landed on October 17, 2026 and October 24, 2026 respectively.
