# BodyTree vs Arc

The clearest difference is monetization model: Arc at free against BodyTree's freemium. Arc also leads on ratings volume (5 vs 1). BodyTree's advantage is update cadence (every 3 days vs weekly). On price, rating, review sentiment and ads there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. BodyTree sells 3 in-app purchases, starting at $4.99 per month and Arc sells 5 in-app purchases, starting at $9.99 per month. Whichever you choose, the download price is not the number that matters.

On the App Store both sit at effectively the same score — 5.0 for BodyTree against 5.0 for Arc. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: Arc has 5 ratings behind it against 1, so its average is the more settled of the two. Written reviews split almost evenly too, at 100% and 100% positive.

BodyTree ships an update every 3 days, Arc weekly. Both last shipped on October 24, 2026.
