# Knit Journal vs Posture Patrol

The clearest difference is ads: Knit Journal at none against Posture Patrol's shown. Posture Patrol's advantage is update cadence (every 3 days vs every 3 months). On price, in-app purchases, device support and iOS requirement there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Knit Journal sells 1 in-app purchase, starting at $4.99 per month and Posture Patrol sells 2 in-app purchases, starting at $0.99 per month. Whichever you choose, the download price is not the number that matters.
