# Digext vs Wheneri

The clearest difference is update cadence: Wheneri at every 2 days against Digext's fortnightly. Wheneri also leads on ratings volume (62 vs 7) and iOS requirement (16.4 vs 26.0). Digext's advantage is rating (5.0 vs 4.6) and review sentiment (100% vs 85%). On price, ads, in-app purchases and monetization model there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Digext sells 1 one-off in-app purchase and Wheneri sells 3 in-app purchases, starting at $2.99 per month. Whichever you choose, the download price is not the number that matters.

Digext holds the better App Store score, 5.0 against 4.6. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: Wheneri has 62 ratings behind it against 7, so its average is the more settled of the two. Written reviews point the same way: 100% of Digext's written reviews are positive against 85% of Wheneri's.

Digext ships an update fortnightly, Wheneri every 2 days. The most recent releases landed on September 13, 2026 and September 29, 2026 respectively.
