# Cramp Daddy vs Vela

The clearest difference is update cadence: Vela at every 11 days against Cramp Daddy's every 3 weeks. Cramp Daddy's advantage is iOS requirement (15.1 vs 17.0). On price, ads, in-app purchases and device support there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Cramp Daddy sells 1 in-app purchase, starting at $2.99 per month and Vela sells 2 in-app purchases, starting at $7.99 per month. Whichever you choose, the download price is not the number that matters.

Cramp Daddy ships an update every 3 weeks, Vela every 11 days. Both last shipped on October 31, 2026.
