# Prepilingo vs Devoca

The clearest difference is update cadence: Devoca at every 5 days against Prepilingo's fortnightly. Devoca also leads on iOS requirement (13.0 vs 15.0). On price, ads, in-app purchases and device support there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Prepilingo sells 3 in-app purchases, starting at $4.99 per month and Devoca sells 1 one-off in-app purchase. Whichever you choose, the download price is not the number that matters.

Prepilingo ships an update fortnightly, Devoca every 5 days. Both last shipped on October 14, 2026.
