# Prepilingo vs Rilke

The clearest difference is ads: Prepilingo at none against Rilke's shown. Rilke's advantage is update cadence (every 5 days vs fortnightly). On price, in-app purchases, device support and iOS requirement there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Prepilingo sells 3 in-app purchases, starting at $4.99 per month and Rilke sells 6 in-app purchases, starting at $6.99 per month. Whichever you choose, the download price is not the number that matters.

Prepilingo ships an update fortnightly, Rilke every 5 days. The most recent releases landed on October 25, 2026 and October 31, 2026 respectively.
