# PolyChat vs Lore

The clearest difference is rating: Lore at 3.2 against PolyChat's 2.0. Lore also leads on ratings volume (6 vs 1). PolyChat's advantage is ads (none vs shown). On price, in-app purchases, monetization model and device support there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. PolyChat sells 6 one-off in-app purchases and Lore sells 12 in-app purchases, starting at $5.99 per 7 days. Whichever you choose, the download price is not the number that matters.

Lore holds the better App Store score, 3.2 against 2.0. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: Lore has 6 ratings behind it against 1, so its average is the more settled of the two.
