# Reset vs Quizlock

The clearest difference is monetization model: Quizlock at free with in-app purchases against Reset's subscription. Quizlock also leads on review sentiment (67% vs 42%) and rating (4.7 vs 4.5). Reset's advantage is ads (none vs shown) and ratings volume (163 vs 9). On price, update cadence, in-app purchases and device support there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Reset sells 12 in-app purchases, starting at $4.99 per 7 days and Quizlock sells 4 in-app purchases, starting at $4.99 per 7 days. Whichever you choose, the download price is not the number that matters.

Quizlock holds the better App Store score, 4.7 against 4.5. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: Reset has 163 ratings behind it against 9, so its average is the more settled of the two. Written reviews point the same way: 42% of Reset's written reviews are positive against 67% of Quizlock's.

Both ship on a similar rhythm, roughly every 3 days. The most recent releases landed on October 17, 2026 and October 9, 2026 respectively.
