# Trovelo vs 1st Class

The clearest difference is monetization model: Trovelo at free against 1st Class's freemium. 1st Class's advantage is review sentiment (100% vs 91%). On price, update cadence, ads and in-app purchases there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Trovelo sells 2 one-off in-app purchases and 1st Class sells 4 in-app purchases, starting at $2.99 per 7 days. Whichever you choose, the download price is not the number that matters.

Trovelo ships an update every 4 days, 1st Class every 8 days. The most recent releases landed on October 25, 2026 and October 16, 2026 respectively.
