# Earthquake Bells vs TerraWatch

The clearest difference is update cadence: TerraWatch at every 5 days against Earthquake Bells's every 2 months. Earthquake Bells's advantage is device support (3 vs 1) and iOS requirement (13.0 vs 17.0). On price, ads and in-app purchases there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Earthquake Bells sells 2 in-app purchases, starting at $4.99 per month and TerraWatch sells 1 one-off in-app purchase. Whichever you choose, the download price is not the number that matters.

Earthquake Bells ships an update every 2 months, TerraWatch every 5 days. The most recent releases landed on October 24, 2026 and October 25, 2026 respectively.
