# Sparkforge vs Snaky Player

The clearest difference is iOS requirement: Snaky Player at 15.1 against Sparkforge's 26.2. On price, update cadence, ads and in-app purchases there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Sparkforge sells 4 one-off in-app purchases and Snaky Player sells 5 one-off in-app purchases. Whichever you choose, the download price is not the number that matters.

Both ship on a similar rhythm, roughly weekly. The most recent releases landed on October 28, 2026 and October 31, 2026 respectively.
