# FlowState vs Tomato

The clearest difference is update cadence: FlowState at every 2 days against Tomato's every 9 days. On price, ads, in-app purchases and device support there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. FlowState sells 3 in-app purchases, starting at $0.99 per month and Tomato sells 1 one-off in-app purchase. Whichever you choose, the download price is not the number that matters.

FlowState ships an update every 2 days, Tomato every 9 days. The most recent releases landed on September 27, 2026 and October 7, 2026 respectively.
