# TimeCatcher vs Ink

The clearest difference is update cadence: Ink at every 2 days against TimeCatcher's weekly. Ink also leads on iOS requirement (16.0 vs 18.0). On price, ads, in-app purchases and device support there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Neither carries in-app purchases, so what you see is what you pay.

TimeCatcher ships an update weekly, Ink every 2 days. The most recent releases landed on September 29, 2026 and October 1, 2026 respectively.
