# DoubleCam vs DualLens

The clearest difference is ads: DoubleCam at none against DualLens's shown. DoubleCam also leads on monetization model (free vs free with in-app purchases) and ratings volume (62 vs 1). On price, rating, update cadence and in-app purchases there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. DoubleCam sells 3 in-app purchases, starting at $3.99 per 7 days and DualLens sells 2 in-app purchases, starting at $7.99 per year. Whichever you choose, the download price is not the number that matters.

DualLens holds the better App Store score, 5.0 against 4.8. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: DoubleCam has 62 ratings behind it against 1, so its average is the more settled of the two.

DoubleCam ships an update every 9 days, DualLens every 6 days. Both last shipped on October 31, 2026.
