Arietta vs Realm Music

Arietta is a music practice tracker that remembers what you're working on — down to every section of every piece — and uses spaced repetition to tell you which pieces are starting to fade. Add your repertoire, time your sessions, and log how they went. Arietta keeps a complete practice journal: what you practiced, when, how it felt, and how your tempo is progressing. Open the app and Today shows exactly what needs your attention — no guesswork, no blank page. KNOW WHAT TO PRACTICE TODAY Most practice apps are just timers. Arietta uses spaced repetition — the same proven method behind language and memory apps — to track how well you know each piece and bring back the ones starting to slip. Today lists the pieces that are due and says why each one needs you. You spend your practice time where it actually counts. PRACTICE IN FOCUSED SESSIONS A built-in practice timer with the metronome right below the clock. Choose the sections you're working on, jot down a note mid-session, switch pieces, or practice without a piece at all. Then log the duration, the tempo you reached, and how it went — or skip the timer and log a session by hand. Every session feeds your history automatically. PROGRESS, SECTION BY SECTION Record the tempo for each section of every piece, and watch your tempo climb on a clear chart. The micro-progress that used to be invisible — the two extra clicks on the metronome, the passage that finally locked in — becomes something you can see. SEE YOUR PRACTICE ADD UP Weekly, monthly and all-time stats, a practice calendar, full session history, and a tempo chart for every piece. Monthly reviews surface your highlights, personal bests, and the pieces that need attention before they fade. YOUR WHOLE REPERTOIRE, ORGANIZED A piece library with status tracking (Wishlist → Learning → Learned → Mastered). Group it by status, search it, and sort it the way you like — it stays that way. STAY MOTIVATED Weekly streaks that reward consistency without punishing rest days. Milestone celebrations. A weekly practice goal that keeps you accountable without turning practice into a chore. BUILT FOR EVERY INSTRUMENT Piano, guitar, violin, cello, flute, drums, voice — if you practice it, Arietta tracks it. Whether you're a student working through lesson assignments, a returning player rebuilding your repertoire, or a self-taught musician with a growing list of pieces, Arietta fits how you practice.
