# GridDown vs Kitwise

The clearest difference is in-app purchases: GridDown at none against Kitwise's 1. Kitwise's advantage is update cadence (every 2 weeks vs every 6 months) and iOS requirement (17.0 vs 26.5). On price, ads and device support there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Kitwise sells 1 one-off in-app purchase. GridDown asks for nothing beyond the download.

GridDown ships an update every 6 months, Kitwise every 2 weeks. Both last shipped on October 28, 2026.
