# Cheltu vs Scanbon

The clearest difference is update cadence: Cheltu at every 4 days against Scanbon's fortnightly. Scanbon's advantage is device support (3 vs 1) and iOS requirement (15.6 vs 17.6). On price, ads and in-app purchases there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Neither carries in-app purchases, so what you see is what you pay.

Cheltu ships an update every 4 days, Scanbon fortnightly. The most recent releases landed on October 8, 2026 and October 5, 2026 respectively.
