# App Blocker vs Gebets Blocker

The clearest difference is monetization model: Gebets Blocker at freemium against App Blocker's subscription. Gebets Blocker also leads on update cadence (every 6 days vs every 4 months). App Blocker's advantage is iOS requirement (17.0 vs 26.2). On price, ads, in-app purchases and device support there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. App Blocker sells 2 in-app purchases, starting at $1.99 per month and Gebets Blocker sells 8 in-app purchases, starting at $7.99 per 7 days. Whichever you choose, the download price is not the number that matters.

App Blocker ships an update every 4 months, Gebets Blocker every 6 days. The most recent releases landed on October 7, 2026 and October 8, 2026 respectively.
