# Car Play Connect vs 途播

The clearest difference is rating: Car Play Connect at 4.7 against 途播's 4.3. Car Play Connect also leads on ratings volume (229 vs 28). 途播's advantage is update cadence (every 2 days vs every 9 days) and review sentiment (68% vs 50%). On price, ads, in-app purchases and monetization model there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Car Play Connect sells 4 in-app purchases, starting at $7.99 per 7 days and 途播 sells 1 one-off in-app purchase. Whichever you choose, the download price is not the number that matters.

Car Play Connect holds the better App Store score, 4.7 against 4.3. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: Car Play Connect has 229 ratings behind it against 28, so its average is the more settled of the two. Written reviews complicate that: 50% of Car Play Connect's written reviews are positive against 68% of 途播's, so the app with the better star average is not the one people write more warmly about.

Car Play Connect ships an update every 9 days, 途播 every 2 days. Both last shipped on October 31, 2026.
