# David vs Anchored

The clearest difference is update cadence: Anchored at every 3 days against David's every 2 weeks. Anchored also leads on rating (5.0 vs 4.7). David's advantage is ratings volume (22 vs 3). On price, review sentiment, ads and in-app purchases there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. David sells 3 in-app purchases, starting at $4.99 per month and Anchored sells 2 in-app purchases, starting at $4.99 per month. Whichever you choose, the download price is not the number that matters.

Anchored holds the better App Store score, 5.0 against 4.7. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: David has 22 ratings behind it against 3, so its average is the more settled of the two. Written reviews split almost evenly too, at 100% and 100% positive.

David ships an update every 2 weeks, Anchored every 3 days. The most recent releases landed on September 29, 2026 and October 5, 2026 respectively.
