# Classr vs CollegeCal

The clearest difference is rating: Classr at 4.0 against CollegeCal's 3.0. CollegeCal's advantage is update cadence (every 3 days vs weekly) and review sentiment (75% vs 67%). On price, ratings volume, ads and in-app purchases there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Classr sells 3 in-app purchases, starting at $1.99 per month and CollegeCal sells 2 in-app purchases, starting at $3.99 per month. Whichever you choose, the download price is not the number that matters.

Classr holds the better App Store score, 4.0 against 3.0. Both are backed by a comparable volume of ratings — 9 and 10 respectively. Written reviews complicate that: 67% of Classr's written reviews are positive against 75% of CollegeCal's, so the app with the better star average is not the one people write more warmly about.

Classr ships an update weekly, CollegeCal every 3 days. The most recent releases landed on October 10, 2026 and October 11, 2026 respectively.
