# RunOrithm vs Marathon Coach

The clearest difference is update cadence: Marathon Coach at every 4 days against RunOrithm's every 2 weeks. On price, ads, in-app purchases and device support there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. RunOrithm sells 1 in-app purchase, starting at $29.99 per year and Marathon Coach sells 2 in-app purchases, starting at $12.99 per month. Whichever you choose, the download price is not the number that matters.

RunOrithm ships an update every 2 weeks, Marathon Coach every 4 days. The most recent releases landed on September 29, 2026 and October 11, 2026 respectively.
