# Bite vs BigFish AI

The clearest difference is monetization model: Bite at free with in-app purchases against BigFish AI's subscription. Bite also leads on ratings volume (95 vs 2) and iOS requirement (15.1 vs 17.0). BigFish AI's advantage is ads (none vs shown). On price, rating, review sentiment and update cadence there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Bite sells 7 in-app purchases, starting at $7.99 per month and BigFish AI sells 2 in-app purchases, starting at $7.99 per month. Whichever you choose, the download price is not the number that matters.

BigFish AI holds the better App Store score, 5.0 against 4.8. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: Bite has 95 ratings behind it against 2, so its average is the more settled of the two. Written reviews point the same way: 94% of Bite's written reviews are positive against 100% of BigFish AI's.

Bite ships an update every 5 days, BigFish AI every 3 days. The most recent releases landed on October 25, 2026 and October 11, 2026 respectively.
