# Drums Architect Pro vs PatchLens

The clearest difference is update cadence: Drums Architect Pro at every 2 days against PatchLens's weekly. Drums Architect Pro also leads on iOS requirement (15.0 vs 17.0). On price, ads, in-app purchases and device support there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Drums Architect Pro sells 3 in-app purchases, starting at $1.99 per month and PatchLens sells 1 one-off in-app purchase. Whichever you choose, the download price is not the number that matters.

Drums Architect Pro ships an update every 2 days, PatchLens weekly. The most recent releases landed on October 9, 2026 and October 1, 2026 respectively.
