# FreePace vs StrideMeter

The clearest difference is in-app purchases: FreePace at none against StrideMeter's 1. StrideMeter's advantage is update cadence (every 3 days vs weekly) and iOS requirement (16.2 vs 26.2). On price, ads and device support there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. StrideMeter sells 1 one-off in-app purchase. FreePace asks for nothing beyond the download.

FreePace ships an update weekly, StrideMeter every 3 days. Both last shipped on October 7, 2026.
