# Auto Photo vs Camera DualShot

The clearest difference is update cadence: Camera DualShot at every 6 days against Auto Photo's every 4 months. Camera DualShot also leads on rating (5.0 vs 4.8). Auto Photo's advantage is monetization model (free with in-app purchases vs paid) and ratings volume (4 vs 1). On price, ads, in-app purchases and device support there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Auto Photo sells 3 in-app purchases, starting at $4.99 per month and Camera DualShot sells 1 one-off in-app purchase. Whichever you choose, the download price is not the number that matters.

Auto Photo ships an update every 4 months, Camera DualShot every 6 days. The most recent releases landed on October 24, 2026 and October 17, 2026 respectively.
