# Widescreen vs Skipifi

The clearest difference is update cadence: Skipifi at every 3 weeks against Widescreen's every 7 months. Widescreen's advantage is iOS requirement (15.6 vs 18.0). On price, ads, in-app purchases and device support there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Widescreen sells 2 in-app purchases, starting at $0.99 per month and Skipifi sells 2 in-app purchases, starting at $7.99 per month. Whichever you choose, the download price is not the number that matters.

Widescreen ships an update every 7 months, Skipifi every 3 weeks. Both last shipped on October 31, 2026.
