# Negi vs KotoKey

The clearest difference is rating: Negi at 5.0 against KotoKey's 4.3. Negi also leads on ads (none vs shown) and monetization model (free vs free with in-app purchases). KotoKey's advantage is ratings volume (8 vs 1). On price, in-app purchases, device support and iOS requirement there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Negi sells 3 one-off in-app purchases and KotoKey sells 1 one-off in-app purchase. Whichever you choose, the download price is not the number that matters.

Negi holds the better App Store score, 5.0 against 4.3. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: KotoKey has 8 ratings behind it against 1, so its average is the more settled of the two.

Negi ships an update every 2 days, KotoKey weekly. Both last shipped on October 24, 2026.
