# GetBarricade vs SweetU

The clearest difference is rating: GetBarricade at 5.0 against SweetU's 4.5. GetBarricade also leads on update cadence (every 5 days vs every 11 days). SweetU's advantage is ratings volume (558 vs 1) and iOS requirement (13.0 vs 15.1). On price, ads, in-app purchases and monetization model there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. GetBarricade sells 5 in-app purchases, starting at $1.99 per month and SweetU sells 17 in-app purchases, starting at $4.99 per 7 days. Whichever you choose, the download price is not the number that matters.

GetBarricade holds the better App Store score, 5.0 against 4.5. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: SweetU has 558 ratings behind it against 1, so its average is the more settled of the two.

GetBarricade ships an update every 5 days, SweetU every 11 days. The most recent releases landed on October 7, 2026 and October 24, 2026 respectively.
