# Detective Diary vs TriviaRacing

The clearest difference is ads: TriviaRacing at none against Detective Diary's shown. TriviaRacing also leads on update cadence (every 3 days vs fortnightly). On price, in-app purchases, monetization model and device support there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Detective Diary sells 5 in-app purchases, starting at $3.99 per month and TriviaRacing sells 10 one-off in-app purchases. Whichever you choose, the download price is not the number that matters.

Detective Diary ships an update fortnightly, TriviaRacing every 3 days. The most recent releases landed on October 31, 2026 and October 15, 2026 respectively.
