# Pace+ vs Virtual Backyard Ultra

The clearest difference is update cadence: Virtual Backyard Ultra at every 6 days against Pace+'s fortnightly. Pace+'s advantage is iOS requirement (15.1 vs 18.0). On price, ads, in-app purchases and device support there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Neither carries in-app purchases, so what you see is what you pay.

Pace+ ships an update fortnightly, Virtual Backyard Ultra every 6 days. The most recent releases landed on October 8, 2026 and October 7, 2026 respectively.
