# Ping.it vs Link Capture

The clearest difference is ads: Ping.it at none against Link Capture's shown. Link Capture's advantage is update cadence (weekly vs every 2 months) and iOS requirement (18.0 vs 26.0). On price, in-app purchases and device support there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Ping.it sells 3 in-app purchases, starting at $1.99 per month and Link Capture sells 4 in-app purchases, starting at $4.99 per month. Whichever you choose, the download price is not the number that matters.

Ping.it ships an update every 2 months, Link Capture weekly. Both last shipped on October 25, 2026.
