# HydroFoo vs SummonRun

The clearest difference is update cadence: SummonRun at every 11 days against HydroFoo's every 2 months. On price, ads, in-app purchases and device support there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. HydroFoo sells 2 in-app purchases, starting at $1.99 per month and SummonRun sells 5 one-off in-app purchases. Whichever you choose, the download price is not the number that matters.

HydroFoo ships an update every 2 months, SummonRun every 11 days. The most recent releases landed on October 25, 2026 and October 24, 2026 respectively.
